Is the upper only available with a forward assist?  I know that the old Balios had one, while the Balios Lite did not.  Are you sticking with that distinction?

How's this pronounced? Is it Ay-thon or E-thon?

Will that lower work with a Troy Industries ambidextrous mag release?

I know that I can, but there are differences in style, including different lightening cuts in the pic rail.  I would rather have a complete set of Aethon without a FA.  Otherwise, I'll probably just go full BL.

ETA: wait, Balios Lite Gen 2?  How did I miss that?!

Nice
Any thoughts of doing a few 80% versions? I would love to have one.

I don't want to be that guy, but what does this improve over the other receivers 2A makes?

I mean. It's not lighter than the balios lots, but it looks like just an aesthetic change.

I seem to remember that, a while back, they said that they would update the Balios set's aesthetics.  Those original receivers weren't particularly distinctive (other than the aforementioned Magpul waffle at the front of the magwell.)  The Balios Lite set was far more unique looking.  These seem to be the heavier Balios build level with more 2A-ish styling.

The Balios lite Gen2 lower is the same receiver as the Balios lite lower except with the trigger guard change and the rail cuts. We will be offering the rails in both the Balios cut outs and the Balios lite Gen2 cut outs. The original Balios lite upper remained unchanged.

So, there isn't actually a Gen 2 upper, just a new lower.  Why, then, the interruption in availability?  I could see the original lower being out of stock, but if the upper will remain unchanged, why not produce that ahead?  Did you switch all of your capacity to producing the new Gen 2 lower and Aethon products?

Nice!

As I mentioned in the other thread, the original Balios Lite upper is "Sold Out" everywhere, which is what I was questioning.

When are the new complete rifles coming out? And will you still have the camouflaged model?

This is a very nice set.  A friend of mine built a Form 1 SBR with the Balios Lite receivers and it came out very well.

I might have to add one of these Aethon sets to the stable.

Who will make a small frame ar10?

Designed from the ground up, no bigger than an AR

Bolt head may have different lug arrangement with steeper or longer cam track to engage three larger locking lugs. Star chambers suck dicks anyway.

You will make millions. Or someone will; everyone is afraid of the standardization monster - that there isn't any. Fuck standardization, make a new standard, sleek, small, strong, and thoroughly tested and start selling it. The people will come. And don't make the tragic mistake of only marketing the whole rifle, like DPMS or Mega. Fuck buying a whole rifle when I want that Faxon .308 pencil, hand guard of choice, etc. on my yet-to-be started lightweight SMALL FRAME 308 build.

Call it the Xenon or some shit.
