More likely Ogden Nash than Maya Angelou.

Edit:  Awwww, correcting the title from "poet firing weapon" makes my comment all poopy.

My question when watching the video was how many rounds would this bad boy last before having parts breakage or spring issues?

Provided it was fed from good mags (PMags) and good ammo?

My infantry company sent a squad to Ft Benning in the 70s to help with testing of the New APC.  Those guys shot the snot out of those port weapons and said the fumes got so bad inside you really could not use them much when the apc was buttoned up.

We never got the new IFV while I was in.

We had them back when I was mechanized Infantry back in thr 1990s.  I cleaned many,  not shot one.  That sure looking cool!

I got to shoot the crap out of them in early 93-95 carried one some of time in Desert Storm dismounted when not carrying my M60 or other (AK-47)  found removing one of buffer springs helped slow firing rate from around 1000 rpm. Heavy pig for what it is but had "cool guy" factor then around non Infantry.

Dang I guess I log in here much or in long time.
