Been looking for one REASONABLY priced, without success

Can anyone help a guy out with a reliable source?

If you cannot locate one, Essential Arms offers one very similar and it is available in mil-spec.

genofromreno has them often, BUT you gotta pay to play. I did without regrets.

I have one from EA, and it's pretty decent.  The only issue is that it is marked with a raised "B," which I believe means it was Bushmaster production.  Otherwise it's great.  I got the kit that came with the two-position receiver extension and retro carbine lock ring.

On the EA stocks, do they offer just the stock? I have had one (with the raised B) for maybe ten years, but it is pretty loose on a milspec tube. And the finish is worn out.

Yes if you call he will sell them individually.  In my experience the EA stocks are also a little loose on mil-spec tubes.  I put a couple soft pieces of Velcro on the inside of the stock and it took out all of the slop.

Black Gaff tape works well for this too.
