I know it's a little early yet but was just checking the dates.

I know some of you guys go to it so who's planning on going this year?

Here's the link for anybody not familiar.

Flyer says Friday 15th, and Sat 16th.
I hope to make it this year. Will contact you and maybe hook up. Hopefully Heatnbeat will show too.
Thanks for posting.

Looks like it's about an hour and a half from me, straight up 611 to 33. I might have to try to make it. Thanks.

Oops, my dementia must be flaring up! I fixed the OP.

It's usually a pretty good time and a friend runs it so he usually hooks me up with getting in on Thursday and last year I was giving people rides in a Hummer.

Never know what you might find there. Let me know if anybody decides to go.

Great MV show and occasional retro arms stuff nuggets with some of the dealers.  Years back got a demil 601 front sight there in a junk parts bin there.

Yeah, you never know what you may find but leans more towards military vehicles but old web gear, racks, cases etc are there as well. I regret not buying the 2.75" folding fin rocket trainer there to wax nostalgic about.

I still have my bundle of GP straps around somewhere as well that I haven't done anything with.

Last year I was driving a friend of a friends Hummer giving rides so perhaps I will be again this year.

I got my AN-PVS2 night vision scope there for $200, WITH the battery adaptor so you can use 4 AA batteries. Soft case included!

Nylon or canvas?
The GP straps with a clip on each end?

I'll have to pull them out and take a look again but I'm pretty sure they are canvas with the clips. Guy had a box full of them brand new and I want to say I paid $10 for ten of them.

The organizer says he has several new venders this year as well so curious to see what may show up. I'll be there Thursday during setup so check back for a report.

I picked up one of these last year and still sitting in my shed waiting for me to decide what I want to do with it.

I'm kind of in the market for a vehicle this year so hopefully there's something there that catches my eye and in my price range.

Keep an eye on the weather, looks like rain. Many vendors there bale even with drizzle.

I've always wanted an MB38, but I think they're priced out of my reach anymore.

Sounds like a good time to get deals!

My buddy was at another show and teased me with these.

Fun toys there Banshee. I've owned a 1944 CCKW 353 with 10 ton winch, ring mount and "wrecker set #7" (<go look that one up),, a 1942 Dodge WC 52,,3/4 ton weapons carrier with 5 ton winch and MG mount, and last but not least a 1962 M422A1 (mitey mite),, and YES I had to try driving with only 3 wheels on it, but never "forded" it into 5 foot deep water.

Unfortunately I didn't end up with either of them

They both had trailers too and I was really eyeing the one with the 1919 mount since I have a semi one. It would go to the range a lot more often if I had it mounted in a Jeep and just drove it there, shot it and drove it home instead of having to lug the tripod and crap.

I'm not going to make it this year because of work.

If you guys would post a few pics - that would be appreciated.

Many venders weren't there or set up yet by the time I had to leave today but did make some retro scores from one vender I know. I also got a good lead on a 151 MUTT I may pursue. I think there will be many more vehicles tomorrow as long as the weather cooperates.

Yeah, he said he wants a Ferrett and a 151!

I told him he needs to talk his mother into letting me buy one.

Some more pics I had to resize.

Yes it is. It's owned by the same guy who owns the white Weasel, the one green Weasel, the Hummer, the other white tracked vehicle and several others there. He's a real nice guy and I drive his Hummer around a bit for him at the show.
