Just got done assembling testing firing 3 PA10 pistols 12.5 barrels

Used a Ballistic Advantage 12.5 barrel
Alpha Premium .308 BCG Nitrided

Anderson AR15 LPK
PA 10 upgrade parts
SB Tactical AR15 pistol carbine extension tube
Springco Orange Spring
DPMS .308 Carbine Buffer
Standard ar15 gas tube
Adjustable gas block
PA 10 upper and lower
SOB Pistol Brace

Adjusted gas block and wow everything is silky smooth on these bad boys they just run

Hoping to get out to the range to test them soon at distance

But each one chugged through a few mags no issues and shot smooth with 3 types of ammo only ammo they didn’t like was some super old surplus 7.62x51 of unknown origin lol I blame the ammo

Mainly posting this because I see very little info online with PA 10 Pistol builds and thought this might help when picking parts for a build.

how much flash and blast are you getting? Long exposure pics would be nice.

Where are you adjusting the gas block and what muzzle device?

2 of 3 had A2 flash hiders

1 has a Smith Flash Eliminator

I was honestly pleasantly surprised wasn’t the thumping loud noise concussion fireball I’ve always read lol I was outdoors though , those standing behind me were unbothered by the noise and even commented that my .556 10.5 seemed to bother them more

I plan to shoot the smith at night in slow mo to catch the flame I’ll try it on a A2 as well

For my gas block I closed it all the way then opened it 3 turns total and that was the sweet spot I’ll have to check who made the block it’s made of 1080 steel I paid $28 I believe I’ll have to check on the mfg

PSA keep kicking out PA10 parts !!!!

I used a wojtek weaponry adjustable gas block on all 3

I shot a HK51 on full auto back in the 80's.
Wasn't unpleasant in the least.
