If it's the same mag and lower as the uppers that run, my suspicion would be a misaligned gas block... or a loose key.

Shot mine last week maybe 40 or so rounds with no issues. Using a sig sauer Romeo 5 red dot I got it sighted in at 50yards. 5 rounds in a fist size group. Need more time with it that is for sure. American Eagle 55grain FMJ

It can be several obvious things.
Gas port clogged or to small Gas block alignment Gas tube / gas key alignment and mating Buffer to heavy or buffer weights binding inside buffer Buffer or spring binding against something inside tube Tight or damaged chamber Tight gas ring / carrier connection Carrier binding against something Bolt hold open is tight or binding against receiver It could also be any number of less obvious things as well. |

Had the same problem on my 10.5 inch BCM upper. I just put a heavy buffer in there, solved the problem.
