Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Can A Pistol Lower and SBR Lower Share the Same Upper?

After a 10 month wait, I finally received my form 1 stamp for my Spikes 8.1" SBR build.  In addition to my registered SBR lower, I'm thinking about building a dedicated pistol lower (for crossing state lines, occasional truck gun, etc) and using the same 8.1" upper.  I have a VFG currently on said upper.  If I remove the VFG and place that upper on a pistol lower, am I good to go?  Any legal considerations with this idea?
