Can a Noveske  flash hider  screw onto a Carbon 15 97S pistol.....any adapters needed? Anyone have a pic of one on a carbon15 pistol?

nobody-really has one on his but I don't know if he used the Bushmaster Threaded Adapter or if he had some custom work done on his bbl.
I've got one on order along with the Bushmaster part so I'll eventually have an answer for you if no one else chimes in here.

I have one on a 2005 model. From what I understand the 2006 model has a factory threaded barrel. Buying a 2006 model would be the way to go if you want to put anything on the barrel.

I had a hell of a time threading the barrel. It can be done, but I had the send the upper back to bushmaster to have the barrel removed from the upper. The barrel nut is non-standard and they use a thread adhesive. So the barrel is very difficult to remove.

If you have a 2005 model now, think of the money you will spend getting the barrel threaded and your better off selling the 2005 and buying a 2006.

The adapter is NOT the way to go.
