10.3" barrel + 2.25" linear comp + crush washer = comp sits 1/16" proud of the 12" handguard.
26.5" OAL (~24.25" OAL for legal purposes as the comp is not perm attached).

Wow.

This is so compact.

I've gotta know--what's the barrel, what's the brace? (and the BCG/Buffer to allow it to be so compact)?

Not the owner, but I believe that's a Strike industries reflex exoskeleton for the mount.

That BCG is bad ass. I was not aware of them before this. Thanks. Learned something new.

Got any pics with the brace unfolded?

TNT 733 11.5" HBAR upper, Anderson CH, Stag Arms BCG.
This is a lower from another build until I assemble a Spikes lower, Spikes lower parts kit, and SB3 brace - parts bought before the election.
It will also receive a Brownells retro carry handle scope.
Definitely nose heavy compared my other pistols.
The TNT upper is really nice, but it took awhile to get here.
    I'd still order again.

TNT takes a couple months to ship in stock uppers. Be warned. One dealing with them was enough for me.

Cerakoted this myself.  The AR15 itself under the paint is nothing to write home about (some generic PSA rifle), but I'm happy with the Cerakote results.  I'll probably Cerakote one of my nicer AR15s next week.

Upgrades I've added myself include a Magpul K2 grip, Magul Hangduard, and all of the "bolt on" accessories (flashlight, grip, optic, etc).  All the internals are stock.  I'd like to build a lightweight AR pistol from parts, which is why I haven't done more with this one.  I've got a ton more Cerakote, so I might just sell this one to buy parts for my next build.

How reliable is the EWS bufferless system? Reminds me of how I've got my .22 conversion setup. I like the option of not needing a buffer tube.

Probably to use in case the optic is destroyed or fails.

But the optic isn’t in a QD mount so they don’t make sense in any scenario, in my mind.  That’s why I was asking the OP.
