View Quote I went with the bcm mod 3 on my 10.5 pistol and couldnt be happier, the a2 just has too much of an angle for me.

Cheek weld is good, decent amount of material and sorta softish rubber, compared to plastic. It's kinda hefty and no adjustments are my only gripes. I wasn't too far from camping areas(legally far enough away to shoot though), so I wanted to keep the noise down a little and only shot 22 through it with a conversion bolt with this brace.

I'm still waiting on the Larue MBT, then it should be complete. Hopefully, I can get out this weekend and shoot it.

The blade is my favorite brace but I install MFT cheek rests backwards on all mine. The Blade is ''OK'' by itself but with a reversed MFT cheek rest it looks and feels 100% better.

Thanks! Havn't had a chance to hit the range yet. Concearned because i didn't find out until after researching that its best to use a pistol length gas system on anything 10.5" and under. Unfortunately the upper came with a carbine length one. I dont plan on using subsonics so hopefully everything functions as it should. If not, i may have to do a barrel & gas system swap.

A pistol length will hammer your gun more.
Carbine length on a 10.5" is like rifle length on a 20".
Ideal in my opinion.

If the gas port is properly sized the gun should run fine.

I just ordered my third carbine length 10.5".

Built this to somewhat resemble a Commando style M16. Has a complete PSA upper with FN CHF chrome lined barrel, 5.56 and 1x7 with regular phosphate and chrome lined bolt carrier group. Loaner carry handle till PSA gets theirs available again. Lower is a machined out 80% that was already anodized, so running clean and un-numbered. Standard LPK and A2 grip with Shockwave and an H2 buffer. Plan to keep it just as is. Shoots great also. Will have maybe about $600 in it total. Its the second pistol I built for myself.

Upper Receiver: Billet A3
Barrel Length: 7.5"
Barrel Finish: Stainless Steel
Twist Rate: 1:7
Chamber: Wylde
Muzzle Device: Linear Compensator
Gas System Length: Pistol
Gas Block Diameter: 0.750"
Handguard: Pistol Length, Free Floating
Charging Handle: Extended Tactical Latch
