I'm away from home and have one day to provide 50 beo case dimensions to the state so it can be added to this year's approved calibers list.
I need SAAMI specs or something close to provide them. ANY help would be appreciated. Even if someone was kind enough to put a dial caliper all over a cartridge they had lying around it would be enough. Thanks in advance!!! septic tank

that helps a little, but i'm looking for the empty case dimensions. like how wide it is at the base, and front, the amount size of the rim, etc.
anybody able to measure one real quick and post the stuff? i'm looking for dimensions like you see listed in reloading manuals... anyone? thanks, septic tank |

i talked to melissa and bill about this, but with the shot show this month, they are behind on orders. i only have two days before the additions are made to the iowa DNR list and i don't think they'll be able to fill my request ahead of all the customer backorders they have. besides, i don't want to be a pest to them... a horse, a horse! my kingdom for a horse! s.t. |

on the reloading pdf it says:
Maximum Case Length 1.655 inches Minimum Case Length 1.644 inches oops... noticed you wanted more then just length. |

you're neat and i call you cool!!! got what i needed and made the conversions. thanks to your help, iowa hunters can use the 50 beo for the 2006 fall hunting season... this includes me...  you've got my mark. hope i can return the favor someday. thanks, septic tank

uhhh... maybe you could watch me kill one with mine? close enough? if you want to, i'd let you field dress the first legal deer taken in iowa with a 50 beo? i'm a hell of a guy, huh?
