A buddy gave me 6 thousand Hornady bullets in 308. So I had to put together a gun to shoot them.
I’ll also build a 6.5 creedmoor upper at some point, or maybe just wait till I shoot all the 308. I’ll try to update with the details when I get time. Attached File |

My plan is to shoot all the 308 bullets I have (6k) and then go high end when I replace the barrel with 6.5 creedmoor. I already have a couple of 6.5 bolt actions and had intended to make this rifle a 6.5. When my friend gave me 3k Hornady BTHP match bullets and 3k Hornady bonded bullets, I figured I would go that route to start. I bought 1000 of the same headstamp mil brass and I already have powder and primers. |

It's an Aero upper/lower receiver set, 16" Criterion .308 mid length barrel, URX4, and Nightforce 4-16. Eventually it'll get an offset T2 |

That's my oldest Armalite, I sold my very first that was made in 99 a long time ago but I replaced it years ago. This one was a T and I burnt the barrel out last year, I replaced it with another LW barrel. Arizona Rifleman and Tanren37, I'm a B model junkie....I can't help it.... |

Has anyone used a JP low mass bolt carrier? I was thinking about building a battle rifle upper. Pair it with either a faxon gunner or criterion 16in.

Love this gun. The NX8 keeps it relatively handy, and even with the can it’s not too terrible to carry, point, and shoot effectively. Though I do still feel like there’s a part of this rifle that needs a bipod and a bunch more magnification. Idk. First world problems. |
