Hey everybody. I've searched the thread but there is a lot going on. Anyone had an MRP barrel cut to 13.7 or 13.9? I'd like to shorten my 16" up as much as possible while still running my keymo.
Any input is greatly appreciated. |

Anyone know the shortest barrel length the MLR upper can take?

Hey guys,
Quick question. MLR chassis. Exactly how long is it? I was wondering if perhaps I could cram a 13.9 inch barrel in there? I think someone listed the length as 13.1 inches? A confirmation would be wonderful! Thanks guys! |

Haven't posted here in years but did get Mars-L and Mars-H pistol lowers in the last year (may SBR them). Still have my old 2 CQB and an MWS upper. Just added a 6.8 16" piston barrel to the collection. Thinking about adding a rifle length M-Lock upper to the collection. Barrels include 10.5" Spikes 22lr barrel and carrier, 10.5" 300BLK Noveske, 12.5" 6.8 DI, 14.5" 6.8 DI SS profiled, 16" 6.8 piston, 12" 5.56 piston, 16" 5.56 DI, 18" 5.56 DI SS. 14.5" dimpled 308, 20" 6.5CM Noveske.
I have an old SDN6 but probably time to get something current. What are the top two go to 30 cal suppressors these days? |

View Quote @Magsz18 I believe these are the numbers: 13.95" (ATF measured) barrel length puts the step before the threads flush with the end of the rail on the rifle length. 10.00" on the carbine length. |

Personal preference but the Dead Air Sandman series are great.
OSS makes a good can that reduces the blow back. My bad. Message was in response to Jason’s post above. Did not quote. My bad. |

Top suppressors may be more of a personal opinion as I believe engineering has evened out amongst the manufacturers. I like to compare attachment methods and I believe the Dead Air Sandman line has one of the best attachment methods, whereas you don't need to attach it at the base, you can simply align and twist off/on at any point of the suppressor. So, you can have a barrel inside a handrail(a la CSW) without the need to physically handle the attachment method at the end of the barrel. |
|
|
Has anyone shaved down their mlok screws so they can remove the barrel without removing their attachments? If so, what did you use to shave them down?

View Quote The Sandman-S has a great tone, is insanely durable, and has a great mounting system. It also doesn’t create as much backpressure as some cans out there. There are lighter and quieter cans on the market for sure, but definitely give the Sandman-S a thorough look. |

Anyone know where to find an MLKMWS upper receiver? I have an LM8MWS upper receiver I will be able to part with after I get an MLK.

View Quote If you want a can, much like a Surefire that you can abuse and never have a single care in the world about, the Sandman line is it. They're insanely well made. As others have said, there are lighter and quieter options but for me, durability is a huge selling point for general purpose sound suppressors. Ill get some pics up soon of my MLC with a Sandman K on it. |
