Mind boggling how these are all arriving in segments. You’d think LMT would just dip everything and ship everything and be done with the order. |

Even thou my parts aren't tanodized I got a few more things in for my build. Waiting for LMT is almost as bad as NFA. The RE is the LMT 308 or A5 length which is the main reason I didn't buy a complete lower and because I had to, the endplate is the QD LMT.. castle nut is colt but oh well the whole thing won't be LMT It seems I chose poorly with who I backordered my lower and EBCG from. |

If so, I'd contact LMT. If not, there's probably something funky going on with the rail attachment. |

Guess I’ll be joining you guys next week. Went to a shop I frequent and they had a new mrp 10.5” upper and a complete mars lower. I’m going to set it up as a pistol until I can set up a trust and get a stamp for it.

Really tempted to buy a LMT 7.62x39 barrel...
The only thing holding me back are the terrible reviews with the LMT 7.62x39 bolt |

Anyone who’s run the 7.62x39 barrels:
Any issues or caveats with mags? |

^ I've seen 20 or so MRP barrels, with a mixture of SS and chrome lined.
I haven't seen enough of a difference to give up the benefits of chrome. The best MRP SS barrel I've seen was barely MOA, and the best chrome lined I've seen was pretty close to it. I only use chrome lined. The only exception being SS service rifle barrels for High Power/CMP. |

Question--any luck with the bulk hornady 75gr BTHP's in any of those CL barrels? Mine HATE them. Including the hornady .223, 556, and frontier loadings. (and I have several CL'd barrels...and 5K 75gr HPBT's) |

I’m interested to see what the SS does. I may have to give it some time- my other LMT CL Barrels all needed 2-400 rounds to “settle in”. So I’m warey to just shoot a few groups and judge it but we’ll see. |

.89 MOA today with my 13.8 5R MLR, with shit, 62 grain ultramax ammunition. I was shocked and not looking to really pattern anything with it. I just wanted to get the optic on paper. Co-worker was using his, with same ammunition, but a16” C/L and the barrel wasn’t having it. I’m excited to get some decent ammunition to see what it likes. To be honest though, for the money, if it patterns like that consistently, with the 62 grain Ultramax, barring it wasn’t an N=1, I don’t know why I wouldn’t stick with it.

View Quote I have a couple LAW folders, and 1 PDW style (MAXIM CGB Gen 7) The LAW is my favorite for packing a rifle away in a smaller bag/backpack... but the PDW is more usable inside a vehicle or even a house. With the LAW you obviously need to fold it open, the PDW stock is ready to fire in all positions. Dimension comparison, I believe the Maxim adds 3.9" to the folded LAW, but has no added width, and is a couple inches shorter in it's firing condition. The CQB version also doesn't require a modified BCG, you can use anyone you want. You do need a shortened buffer, which they do make 9mm versions. I use a JP silent capture in mine, and it is a joy to shoot with 300blk. I was originally worried about the cheekweld, but this version actually feels really good, and there isn't any gaps, or having to put your face on skinny rails. https://lanbosarmory.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=107&products_id=50277 |
