Will be purchasing 6.8 MRP barrel in future. Smith Ent. Vortex has 5/8 x 24 TPI x .73". Will they work together? Thanks for any info. Dan

Yes, 5/8 X 24 X .730 is the near universal thread for 6.8mm SPC. After much research and consultation within Army SOF proponents and various barrel manufacturers. SEI settled on this spec for their 6.8mm SPC Vortex. Btw, their ARSR-700 0.30 cal Vortex accomplishes exactly the same level of flash attenuation and has the same thread specs, just a slightly larger (.343 vs .312) exit hole.

I did some work with a few of these (can't remember the manf.) but they were 1/2 X 36 threads
