I have a 20" government contour, it is very high quality. I have never heard any negatives about Sabre. I had www.pkfirearms.com build mine, and I also recommend them, they were great to deal with.

Which 18" did you need? The stainless steel barrel is about a month out. The CMV version will be available pretty quick if it is not available now. I have them on order, so they should be here soon. Sabre is outstanding quality. We have sold more uppers than anyone. the SPR 18" barrel is a direct descendant of our 16" mid-length. 1/7 twist chrome lined with M4 feed ramps. You will not find a better quality chrome-lined barrel anywhere. I have not shot with the 18" stainless steel yet, but I hear good things. I am sure you will be more than satisfied with Sabre uppers.
