Hi, all.

I noticed that DD has rifle length 12.0 handguard with two different mouting hardware; one is the regular pin method and another is octagon steel method (used on SDM-Rifle).

Does anyone know how they are different?  I did see regular pin time method at DD's web page.
I wonder if one is better than another for mouting method in regard to strength, reliability, durability, and etc...

Thanks!

Matt.

Anyone?

I believe the handguard part is the same while mounting hardware is different.

AFAIK, they all mount the same, but the newer models have different locking rings than the old ones.

There is a HUGE difference between the AR-15 and AR-10 models, though.
