1/8 twist is used in match barrels primarily. Just get a 1/7 there is no real advantage to a 1/8 twist with a NATO chamber. Match barrels do not use NATO chambers because it harms accuracy. I suggest dropping the 1/8 twist idea. It gains nothing over 1/7 NATO barrels or 1/8 match barrels.

dont think there is much readily available 1x8 with 5.56 chamber and m4 ramps being 14.7 long
 either look for something else or go custom |

Check with Wes of MSTN for a Lilja in 1:8 SS (with M4 ramps) and a 5.56MM Wylder chamber. |
