www.bushmaster.com/shopping/barrel-assemblies/abbl11.5a.asp

Will this work as a replacement in a Colt M4 upper with the feedramps in the receiver? Or would it create a "lip"?

Thanks.

from my understanding and going from all the bushmaster bbl.s i own not a single one came with extended feedramps.

get with gds_enterprise, he offers them and should be able to tell you if they do or not.

No Bushmaster I have EVER seen has "M4" feed ramps.

Putting one in a colt upper may cause the tip of the round to catch on the barrel extention.

You could always go the dremel route...ick.

That's what I thought.

Wish CMMG did 11.5" barrels.

You do NOT want to run a M4 receiver without having the M4 feedramps on the barrel extension. It creates an indentation that rounds can catch on.

Yep, that's what I was afraid of....

Colt 11.5" barrels are kind of spendy for a backup to my backup...

$495 from SAW....
