How is the balance on this setup? I really like the looks and additional sight radius that a 13.2 would offer, but does it make the rifle feel front-heavy?

I think the balance is perfect. The rifle started out with a heavy profile barrel, and it was a little nose heavy. Denny is onto something with these barrels, Without magazine, it weighs about 8 lbs. I went with the 13.2 just for the extra sight radius, as I don't intend to add anymore to it.

Affectionately dubbed "The GhettoRecce"

Scraped together on the cheap, but was/is a fun upper nonetheless.
Gotta keep scrapin' for some decent optics...

Trijicon TR21 Accupoint. Amber reticle. Larue SPR-E mount. PRI flip front sight. Trying to decide on a rear. I have a set of Troy BUIS on another rifle, but have been worried about their QC lately based on what has been reported here. Still deciding on a rear BUIS. Maybe I will wait until after SHOT and see what comes out.

Top one is a 12.0 LT over a 14.5" barrel, 16.1" with flash suppressor. If you used a LT 13.2 you'd only see the suppressor.

I like it alot. I think it is the best variable optic option out there right now. No batteries required. Proven under field conditions. I really looked close at it after
this thread
.

I am extremely happy with it. I am thinking about another one unless new options pop up at the SHOT Show.

my contribution before the Ace stock was changed out for an RRA M4 stock.
Oly upper w 16" barrel in Oly rifle length FIRSH. Need a damn flash suppressor put on it.

The first upper is a LMT 16" cut down with the KFH perm attached to bring the OAL to 16" With a rifle length Larue.

The second upper is a ADCO Recce 16" Pac Nor with the Daniel Defense rifle lenght fore end!

Well Just got my upper back from Steve.
ADCO DMR upper with 12" DD tube. I had Steve KG coat the Barrel Tan and has a PRI gas block under the tube as well. BAlance is way better than my 20" Range report later this week.
Ill likely be adding either a TR21 and Larue Mount or the Leupy MK4 1.5X5, Not sure yet, Im going to try and get ahold of some and try them first. For Now my Trusty ML3 and of Course the LaRue Mount.
Sites are ARMS #40LSP and YHM front. ( Im using these until Mr. LaRue comes out with his sites ) TDI and Magpul furniture. Ya I know they dont match perfectly.

thanks

Yeah, I noticed ours looked very similar.

I just got crafty with a dremel and cut my stock FSB.

Definately nose heavy. But since I built mine with more of an emphasis on precision shooting rather than 'tactical running & guning' it doesn't bother me at all.

that looks great! Mind listing everything?

RRA NM lower with M93B stock. Sabre 16" Government profile mid-length upper, 1/7 twist, M4 feed ramps, with DD 12" rail, YHM front fold-down sight, and Pentagon X2 light in DD offset mount. In the first picture it's wearing Aimpoint M3 in LaRue cantilever mount with LMT BUIS; the last picture (and its primary configuration) is with ACOG TA11 on TA51 mount w/ Troy BUIS (not seen in the picture). It's still "work in progress", so it's still missing a few things.

The 1911 in the first picture is Caspian Titanium US Army 1* built by Wayne Novak, with SureFire X200 light.
