hi all: how does one install an ambi safety...cannot really see how the stock one comes out/no instructions came with the parts.

you have to remove the pistol grip first IIRC

OK, maybe I'm lazier than smart, but then lazy people find out how to do things easier.

I used a plastic dowel to push on the off (right) side of the selector while I rotated it back and forth and it pushed right out the left side.  The retainer stayed in place, nothing came flying out (I did have a red rag over the top, JIC).

Placed the left hand part of the new ambi safety into the proper hole until it met the retainier.  Used a small micro-bladed screw driver to depress the retainer, left half selector went right in. Small drop Loctite Blue on the screw for right half of the selector and tightened it up.  No problems since.
