I prefer to keep my LMT's all LMT....(just a bit anal retentive).I use their std bolt w/crane O ring and std BCG(that would be M16). CMT makes great stuff as well, I prefer "MP" stamped bolts as well, YMMV. ENJOY!

Ditto, with the exception that I have the "enhanced" LMT bolt, yes it cost more but then I have yet to have the first malfunction related issue with this upper. It has over 3K rounds on it now and without question it is one of the most accurate and reliable M4s I own.

Another vote to stick with LMT. Another opinion is to run a CMT bolt.

I've got the LMT BCG in mine without any problems.

I would have to agree with every post so far. Just buy a standard LMT bolt, or a CMT. Both will serve you well.

Same here, get the standard LMT.

CMT, same thing, only a little cheaper.

Thanks for the help going to go with the LMT.

These are the variety with the fully shrouded carrier.
Mention this post and you can have either one for $120 shipped...
Personally, I think the CMT is made better than the LMT.

Who manufactures the Carriers for CMT?

A better question is who does CMT manufacture carriers for?

Good choice.

There are three LMT models, enhanced, M16 and standard BCG, take a pick which one you like.

I'm running a LMT M16 BCG on my Defender 2000 carbine, no problems.

I also have Colt M16 and CMT standard BCG on my other ARs.

Good luck.

I'm sure this has been answered before, but I couldn't find anything in my searches so I'll risk asking it here:

Does LMT MPI their bolts?
