I am looking at building my first AR.  I am plannig on using an EO Tech, or Bushnell Holosight for now, and possibly getting a scope later on.  Which one of the two uppers would work better with the Holosight?  Will the sight be too high with the EOP, or just right?  I understand that it is designed for scopes, but was wondering if I would get the same advantages with the Holosight.  I am not planning on using a BUIS, so this is not a factor.

The flat-top is the better choice considering the optics your looking at.

Run away!  The EOP destroys most of the good options for mounting [i]anything[/i].  

No to the EOP....a rigid fixture to the FT limits your options in the future.
