I'm talking about the bottom screw, not the top screw that secures the stock to the buffer tube. Other than that, the subject says it all.

Yep, both are NSN 5305011441494.

The same screw might work for both but I've never tried it, but the swivel is much closer to the buttplate on an A2 than on an A1 so the length of the screw would seem to be different. I know that Brownells and others list them as two seperate items.

Just whent from an A2 to an A1, same screw.

I have 3 A1 stocks I bought and I needed a longer screw for the bottom one that attaches the buttplate to the rear sling swivel.

Are you sure it was an A1 stock and not a C1 from CavArms or something? A2 on the left, A1 on the right.

Do they give you the longer screw when you buy A1 length stock? I was thinking about going back to A1 stock made out of A2 material...? (edited to add - nevermind, I just found out Cav Arms A1 stock includes new buttplate and the screw. So I guess I should be fine with that basic C1 stock set)
