Thats a good start but what about a 1/9 A1 profile is that made anywhere?

Ive yet to see one. The A2 Govt is pretty light.

I've got a 20" Colt A1 pencil thin barrel in 1:7". I bought it years ago from J&T. Mine isn't for sale but some of them may still be floating around.

The only 20" lightwieght barrels I know of are orignial 1/12" parts. You may have success with getting an A2 turned down to A1 profile.

I couldn't find one and ended up with the barrel that Lumpy has shown above. Not what I would have preferred, but it's pretty darn light, particularly with a Cavarms lower!

I got one of the 20" Bushmasters with crowned barrel for my postban "perfect" rifle. I'm still breaking the barrel in but it's more than accurate enough for me. The weight is just outstanding compared to all those HBAR's I've got.
I mated it to Bushmaster upper assembly and it now sits on my designated marksmen rifle. I moved the mounting hole 1.25" aft to improve the view though the ACOG. [img]http://photos.ar15.com/ImageGallery/Attachments/DownloadAttach.asp?iImageUnq=14782[/img] |
