Nice rifles, I like the pic of them all together!  So which one do you grab when SHTF? [:)]

What crap?  I don't see any crap.  All I see are what is essential.  If you want to bling it out, you need to mount a PVS-14 or a PAQ-4.  That would be "off the hook", as the kids might say (do they still say that anymore?).

lots of unused rail space, i think you could easily get 3 times that on each one.

Personally, I guess I'm one of the K.I.S.S types, but what the hell...

I can't remember paying for any of the stuff you put on your rifles (ALL of which are nice as hell, even so) though, so my opinion doesn't really matter. Do YOU like 'em? Yeah? THAT'S what matters, bud.

That pic is awesome!  Thanks.  It's kinda like the ones from the Surfire magazine, with all the lights and lasers hanging off it, plain overkill.  I want to take one of mine and mount three flashlights and have three different optics on it (not a PVS14, three red dot optics).  On an airsoft, of course.

Thank you guy for all the kind words. I got the PEQ2a and a PVS14D squared in my sights, but there are two more uppers in my future.  a mid length 6.8 and an URX.

Who makes those two green slings in your first pic with the HK snap hooks?

I have been looking for a single point with HK hooks, but can never find any.

Nice rifles BTW!

The more crap you hang on your rifle, the less handy it becomes, and the more things you have on it that will fail at the worst possible moment, and the more you have to keep track of, keep tightened, keep fresh batteries in, etc.

Me, I draw the line at one simple non-variable 4X 'scope on my main rifle.  The 2nd rifle stays in iron sights with zero toys at all.

I might consider a simple passive sight system that helps you to acquire the target faster than iron sights, but that's about as far as I want to take it.

I think that I'd set an absolute limit of two accessories on any rifle, for me.

As a guy with what may be the world's ugliest but most reliable Harley-Davidson said once, "Chrome won't get you home."

I really would have to disagree, especially when you look at Lee's rifles. First of all, he really only has two things mounted on each rifle, an optic and a light. And with the exception of the SPR, it wouldnt matter if each of those items did fail him at the worst possible time. Because even if they did his rifles would be just as functional as a stock AR. Each of them have back up irons that can be used right through the optics if the did fail. And if the light broke or burnt out... so what? That wont prevent the rifle from working.

However, when the accessories are working, he will have an advantage over any equally skilled shooter without them. And by the simple fact that he has some seriously top end accessories, the chances that they will be working are extremely high!!

This class was given by Bill Jeans, formerly of Gunsite. He joked to the class that if you only get one accessory for your gun, get a light. He then looked at me and said, "or at least stay close to Neil!" Hahahaha!
