I am looking at getting an ARMS SIR #45 or #46.  It is the type that has a long top rail extensioin that slides back over the flat-top.  I am wondering if ther is enough room to mount a BUIS flip up in the very back on the flat top?

ARMS #40 fits right behind it.

i beleive that ARMS made the SIR in a way that only the ARMS#40 would fit on it.

The only sights that will fit behind the SIR is the ARMS #40 or the Knights 300M. The ARMS unit is so good, and at a fair price, I dont see any reason to go with anything else myself.

The thing I like about the GG&G is the way the peeps are set up, two each of two sizes.  Plus the low clearence.  I don't know why the ArMS 40 would be better?  What are its great features besides that it fits behind a SIR?
