I’ve spent way to much money on this one Anderson lowerand it still needs a laser

BTDT MK12 upper
 Cleaned up years later and different optic/lower. Aluminum black helps her keep looking good.  Clone correct lower  Barrel still a little rough with a new AEM, not bad for being 18 yrs old.  |

Are there any AR-15 owners that don't think their rifle is sexy?
I don't know what it's a clone of, but 15 years later I think it's in its final configuration lol I mean it's obviously an "M4" but I don't keep track of mods and blocks.  The other ones I had as a kid:

Took this one and a couple others to the range this weekend. I’ve seen some hating on BCM in this forum quite a bit lately, but I have to say, maybe I got lucky because I bought this one almost a decade ago, but for an 11.5, she’s damn accurate and fun to shoot.
Thousands of rounds, zero failures - ever. I own nicer rifles, from manufacturers with better reps than the one BCM fell into lately, but this little beast is still one of my favorites.  Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

 Colt was on to something in the late 60s with prototype polymer lowers and shortening the M16 barrel. I'm happy that in 2021 with have the ability to make these concepts function reliably.  This one was a fun project. Extra parts and spray paint have a way of coming together. |

How did you get that QD in the top stock? ---------- My 'coolest' rifle. 16" PSA pencil barrel upper, KP15, lower, Aero mount, Leupold 2.5x20 (mount and optic are right around 10 ounces). Using the very scientific method of standing on a scale with and without a rifle it seems to weigh 6.8 pounds with a loaded 20 round pmag. I think I'm going to move the scope back just a touch, either one notch or moving the scope itself. Glass is very clear, I can shoot it with both eyes open; it worked out just like I hoped it would.
