In production now. We still have a few tests to do: full auto mag dumps before cooking off, and a Cerakote paint that draws heat away, we want to see if it's worth it to offer as an option.

To those who have gone before us. May we earn what they have given.

You can mount it on the other side if you like (it's reversible), it'd work like any 45 degree offset sight, but it'll be slower.

As well as offering top quality products, FCD and La Rue have the best shipping I have seen.

Will your 5/8-24 Dead Air muzzle devices work for 30 cal? I need a Dead Air mount for a 7.62x39 upper. Thx |
|
|
All of our muzzle devices (1/2 x 28 and 5/8 x 24) work on 30 cal, the bore size is 0.338 (TDP spec), which can accommodate 30 cal

They have a quick throw with a definite wall on each detent position. Super slick and way faster than other short throws, let alone the gi selector |

Q levers are slightly offset, these are designed for 90 degree safeties. When the safety is rotated to FIRE, the offset lever is closer to the rear of the rifle, most users are able to rotate the lever back to SAFE without breaking their grip.
Q levers don't have that benefit for 50 degree throw, it does raise the lever's position so it's less likely for the trigger finger to inadvertently bump it and rotate it back to SAFE. Attached File |

I love EVERY piece of fcd equipment i own or have used, and totally dig the company and its ideas. That said, its disheartening to see the beginning of the thread where people (and indeed duffy) saying "we arent a lifestyle brand, cosmetics take a back seat" etc. And fast forward to now and they sell fucking ducky vitton stupid ass magazines. So much for not being "a lifestyle brand" or placing emphasis on cosmetics.

The magazines are a fun thing we do for our friends once a year and listed under the duck gift shop, these are over the top silly so folks wouldn't confuse them as something we do for a living.

They make great products in everything but if they want to have some fun with magazines, mind your business. |

I completed my build recently with the FCD safety and its great.
standard 90º was going to go Q, id like to get just the levers to see how they are, but im accustom to using my finger to flick to safe and thumb for fire. |

Re: SOLGW/FCD Ambi Billet Lower Receiver
Do these have the shelf/M16 cut like the standard SOLGW lowers? (07/02 here) Thanks. |

I liked the function of it a lot though. |

The movement of v1's lever is dependent on the receiver width, not something we can control. If we made the lever thicker, it would reduce the movement but the lever will stick out more, we'd be trading a thing (potential rattling) that doesn't affect function for a thicker lever that protrudes laterally further, and makes accessing the bolt catch's lower paddle more difficult. The choice always goes to functionality.

Prototype round 2. First prototypes work, but the spring pressure is too low, a new spring requires a slight redesign.
|
|

What’s different and when will they be available. I just put v1 on every lower I own.
|
|
|
with v2, the plate itself pivots when pressed from the left side.

Since y’all have them listed on your site, any idea if y’all will be getting more 14.5” Criterion CORE barrels?
