I don't understand why they're so liked. They do not grab the lugs on the scout like other mounts. The only thing holding the light on is the shear strength of those tiny ass screws and prayers. |

After playing with and using a TA31F-G for a while now decided to pick up a TA110-D with the led Green horseshoe. This thing is nuclear bright! A little heavy though. Not sure it’s my cup of tea yet. Low serial number.

X2 on ditching that bipod. Harris or Atlas. There is no other option. |

Slow progress on the GL/SSC.
So a Surefire SOCOM will barely fit if the muzzle device is indexed 90 degrees short. This will probably limit me to just the 4 prong. The 3 prong will work but I don't like the idea of one of the 3 slots pointing straight down. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

So I finally figured out who this dude is.
https://sofrep.com/amp/news/cos-a-living-delta-force-legend/ First found pics of him (face blurred or blacked out) next to Maj. Thomas Greer, but never could find much more on the guy. |

GWOT this:
I had MK12(ish) clone, realized I would never get the right can so I sold the rail and brake. BUT I’ve got a HCS barrel, a Hydramatic Etched 80% lower etc. and only need a hand guard to finish this back out- thinking maybe a URX 3.1 for MK12 that isn’t a MK12- so who has the loan a wrench deal if I go that way? @Outrider
Will a 16” barrel setup up for an AEM5 work with a URX 3.1? I have my Douglas barrel I’m in love with already set up on an RIS II, and wondering if it could work. I don’t want to disassemble both uppers and swap handguards just to find out it wouldn’t. ETA: I’m guessing I’ll have to shave some off the front and back? |

My barrel is in the 16.5" range with rifle length gas and 1.25" long Spikes gas block collar. With can installed I have about 0.25" space between rail and back of can. |

You can make a 13.5 rail work with an aem5. There's no getting a 13.75 rail to work.

View Quote Hell yeah! On another note: got the band back together. Same, but different. Can anyone help ID the riser in the photo a few posts back? Looks like everything else is a KAC 300m rear, KAC vfg, and a M951/2. Riser looks like it could be KAC or ARMS, and I can't tell if it's scalloped on the ends (pointing to ARMS) or just a weird shadow. |
