Won’t have the right can though. SRD direct threads are unobtainium now. Had to settle for a Q Half Nelson. Looks almost identical though since the same dude worked on both.

Does anyone know if the old Daniel Defense lite rails have a GWOT market for them? I have one of the older Savanah 12in rails as well as a newer 10in Black Creek. Both are the older gen design.

The one, true place for a GWOT clone pic. Setup exactly how I rolled in 2010-11 Iraq. Only changes are ODG grip and stock. Same sling, afg, and rail covers tho. All my stuff gotta be ODG.

May be shocking coming from me, but I always like the look of LaRue rail "Mod 1s" and "NSW Recces".  Doesn't hurt they're nicer in the hand than a RAS.

Had no idea CD but that's really neat, the MP44 spawned a lot of viable info/parts across many areas I see!

Gwot taught us back in the world that there's stuff you need, and stuff you don't on a rifle.

Before that was 3 point slings. Single point slings. In 20 years of conflict they moved from 20 inch barrels to half that, at 10.3. and 77 gr.

Not to mention the changes in kit and armor.

My contribution is in my avatar. Put it together myself from stuff I learned here. When I joined I basically knew nothing more than the .22 cal adapted m16 I fired once in bmts. All to sit on the sidelines while commies burned down our cities, and the government bent the knee.

A waste of time, money, and resources. I could've been smokin some serious medical grade stuff, and stuffing some purple pubed chick. God knows I would've qualified for a weed card.

The best years of my life gone by.

Why thanks. Forgot I let my membership lapse, and that includes no avatar anymore.

Anyway, without being sardonic, I meant to say I am grateful for the things I learned here. Too bad it was a collosal waste of time and money. Our government basically gave our country away to trannies with a hammer and sickle painted on the back of a trash can lid. Our well regulates militia stood down as ordered, and our own government bent the knee.

Kind of wondering what it was all for?

Nutshell:
-bcuz DS told us to not ask, but to do.
-while we were over there dying, people got to live over here, not dying or getting blown up.

That's all I got. Everything else was fucked and a waste of time.  But boy oh boy did we get some nice GWOT weapons development and data! And with that, let's get back on topic lolz:

My "assaulter" setup, m14 based, GWOT style vibes. Light handy and accurate enough. How I woulda setup one, as the SAGE chassis is 4lbs and this is under 1lb. The 1-6 real nice and handy.

The Sawman out at the farm awhile ago. This has become my main 22lr host. I run CCI clean-22 and it's literally as clean or cleaner than 556 in the can. I just ordered 2k more of it LOL
