I’m pretty bad at the whole rattle can thing. I did a Block 1 M4 and my MK12 Mod H, but every time I pull out the 15.1 I am tempted to try again. I will probably do it, but may practice on another first.

It was actually pretty easy. I drilled the hole at the top rear at a little more of an angle to accommodate both wires, but the soldering and assembly were easy. I do recommend wiring and testing before soldering just to identify which pole is constant on and constant off. |

For anyone waiting on their CLE Barrels. Ordered Mine 1-9-21 (estimated 10-12 week lead). I just received the barrel today took 7 weeks. Looks excellent.

The CLE Douglas barrel finally arrived. It's nice that the team there still includes a hand written thank you note. The small things matter.
The barrel is gorgeous, now I need to send it off to John Thomas for the pin and weld. Can't wait to shoot it! |
|
|
What kind of suppressor to rail gap are you all seeing with the CLE barrels?

Just ordered a Rhodesian paint kit from ARS. Just need to get the optics setup again and then I'm gonna channel my inner Bob Ross.
Have any of you used any unusual/uncommon paint schemes on your Recces? |

Once you know how to use the X24, its hard to beat. Are there better optics...sure. But nothing looks more legit than a X24.

Took it to the range one time and it was exhausting to be behind. |

It is the 14.5 SOCOM profile with a spacer from ADCO and a pin and welded NT4. Marvin did a few runs of 416 barrels and I am very happy with them. I was warned against cutting the MR556 barrel down due to the fact that it is swaged. |

This is the only picture I could find on my phone, apparently I haven't taken a picture of it as recently as I thought, I'll be sure to rectify that this weekend. I've since replaced the 14.5 SOCOM barrel with a 16" Lilja, and the G SD-E trigger with a SSA-E. |

If so that could explain how the 1.4 inch rings match up with the 1.52 inch high clip on NV. |
