I had the opportunity to mess with a Kahles, Razor, and Nx8 I just wish the Razor was ~17-18oz I'm still pinching pennies for a Kahles ,but the Razor keeps looking more interesting due to price. What is the proper buffer weight for this rifle?

Thanks for the replies! I'll start with the standard spring and a H2 and go from there.

I'm using an A5-3 with green spring in mine, but I had a few sporadic failures to lock back on empty Gen M3 PMAGs. I'm going to try the standard A5 buffer next weekend, which I assume will fix it. But that's what got me wondering about the over-gassed comment, I've used the same buffer setup on my Noveske and BCM for thousands of rounds and never had that issue.

I don't know much about the Super 42 spring system. I am assuming that you can use a standard H2 buffer with it instead of having to spend $20 on an extra weight to take the standard H up to a H2?

Geissele H1 and Colt H2 side by side for comparison. I’ve been running the Colt H2 with the Geissele Super 42 Spring in both my URG-I’s. No issues. Attached File

I'd have to put the calipers to them but they don't appear to be all that different in diameter in those pics.

I know that most people in this thread are looking forward to seeing the Army SF fielding these and seeing what optics they run, but is anyone else excited to see all of the random “been there, done that”, painted up, used and abused M4 lowers that these new uppers get attached to? Or am I just a rare breed?

I ordered mine from Charlies as well, Clone Correct Pinned with Geissele Vortex mount. They told me to expect it in 2-3 weeks, so we shall see.
I've got a Colt M4 lower, Geissele Maritime Bolt Catch, and Colt Ambi safety coming shortly for it as well. B5 Enhanced Sopmod and Ergo grip waiting in the safe with the Razor. I guess I'll order the proper light and can with the coupons one the upper gets here. I haven't been this pumped about a clone build well ever. |

While not clone correct, the k16 in 3GR is pretty sweet and will most likely end up on this Urg. (Assuming... I don't blow my wad prematurely on other glass deals... ) For my eyes the Razor/k16 really stood out in terms of Glass clarity/eye box. I'll keep an eye out. |
