From what I have heard, the early rails were laser engraved, and then G moved to roll-stamping.

The company that took those pictures is a prop company that appears to be working with Taran Butler. The guns are actually BCM so the MK16 was added as a standalone upgrade. Must be some gun industry magic/collaboration. Also pictured is a new BCM stock that hasn't made it into public hands yet.
