I've never seen one like this. Who makes it? What's with the cutout?

Thanks!

DPMS used to make one like that.

eta: I guess it was supposed to be a bit lighter.

Weight reduction, bro. Got a dremel?

That is...  unique!

Looks like the metal Russian Triangle Folder of AK fame...

I sorta like it. Well, I'm intrigued anyway..

I just "I'll take it"ed it in the EE.

Hopefully i like it.

ETA:
I'll throw it on here, just for kicks.

Wrap a battle dressing and tourniquet in there for the "Vlad so Bad" I'm taking your Ukraine look...

Question - so what happened to the former storage compartment - that is the area they opened up right?

That's what it looks like..

The member I bought it from said it came off of a dpms, and is like a normal A2 stock in every way except the cut out.

It's just weird enough that I like it.

That stock came on their (DPMS) .308 Lite Hunter. No longer an option (I think).

Does it come the a rifle buffer? You'll need that and a spring or just buy a carbine spacer.

The A1 stock is really a better fit as far as a fixed stock on a carbine IMO. But go off of how it feels more than aesthetics.

For what its worth I had a DPMS A2 stock assy and it was extremely well made, so there's that too.

It is well made and rock solid. I haven't shot it with this stock yet, so I will reserve judgment until then.
