Such a small change makes this system so much more versatile. I know this is bad timing to release this video but it was already in the works.

I wonder how durable and reliable these trigger systems are when subjected to long term use?

Fostech sells the updated Gen 2 trigger block, I think it is $25.

Thanks Mike.  I wonder if that failure was due to an early hammer release or bolt bounce.

Hammer follow and bolt bounce both look similar to  light strikes. Generally, the indentation on the primer will be the same between a fired round and a light strike. It will be lighter with bolt bounce or hammer follow.

Sorry, I lost track of this thread for a while. Bolt bounce makes more sense with the trigger block present.

Mike, will the Gen 2 hammer block function with both Gen 1 modified and unmodified m16 bolt carriers?

The Gen2 trigger block will not work with a modified bolt carrier, it needs an unmodified standard full auto bolt carrier profile .
