Yeah that's the one that caught my eye as well. And not just because it is center framed in the shot.

Anybody know the story behind it?

If I remember correctly it's a picture from rock island arsenal. I don't know anything more than that.

I was up there this summer and remember reading the sheet they have on it but forgot to take a picture of it. Im not sure about the furniture but the sight is a tritium powered reflex sight from the early 70's. If any of you have "The Black Rifle," page 300-2 has more info.

If any of yall are ever anywhere close to the RIA museum its worth stopping in for. Its free and a good way to kill a couple hours.

How would that even work?  A trigger block we're not seeing, or some sort of shaft that goes up a hollow PG screw?

Must be a hook over the tail of the trigger or something.

No it's definitely a grip safety. I did a little digging and Faxon Arms was developing it last year.

Case in point why you should never let your gun go home drunk with another gun.

Speaking of , what was the deal with the goofy Colt prototypes in the '80s?  Was one of their engineers infatuated with dimetrodons? Seriously, what was the point?

VLTOR rails are attractive for the same reason Mk12 Mod 0s are. Something about the taller top rail just makes ARs look.... better.

If I recall correctly that is a wildcat caliber that can use the barrel that length. Although now that I type this that sounds silly. But what do I know.

Stock that I would 100% buy instantly!
