Thank you as well! I haven't used a CompM-series in about 6 or 7 years and forgot how much I liked them. I was planning on getting a Pro for a Block1 build, but now I know what'll go on that build. |

Made the front post smaller on my beater rifle so I could be a little more precise with irons. It was square and checked about .068 before and after taking it down and making it round I ended up at about .038, then touched it up with a sharpie. http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/zz182/DirtyMoe21/IMG_0052_zpstd7lznwt.jpg View Quote Well done! |

Assembled this one up today, but just made it hand tight. The rail is from SMOS Arms, which is a company making components for some of the larger, well known players. Because we are giving this rail away on FB ( https://www.facebook.com/Stickgunner ), some pics were needed. Who ever wins this rail is going to be happy. https://41.media.tumblr.com/a720d76e343161fabb1c6dcb66a8289c/tumblr_nn388wLbJC1rrcg2fo1_1280.jpg View Quote Does it have any anti-rotation features? I mounted my Nikon P-300 on my 8" 300 Blackout upper yesterday. Today I verified that I got it properly aligned - sadly, not at the range...

I received a new ALG ACT trigger for my newly stamped SBR'd QC 10 GSF lower. Yay!

Mocked up the PSA/FN 14.7 w/a KAC RAS , CQD and a detachable A2 carry handle. Have a KAC 200-600 rear buis for it too but, it'll go on after it gets a pin/weld. |
|
Today I took apart an A2 with a Colt upper receiver with an FN 20" barrel.
I also took apart a 16" carbine with a A2 FN upper and a Colt barrel. I installed the FN upper receiver with the FN barrel. I plan on installing the colt upper receiver with the colt barrel later. Lots of fun. Ron |

Upper is a FA delete from Cope's, bcg is pre logo BCM, barrel is 7.5" nitride 4150 1/7 from Ghost Rifles, AAC 18T Blackout, KAC URX 3.1 8" forearm, LMT front and DD rear sight. The sling is a Blue Force Gear VCAS in ATACS/Coyote. It looks like it's reflecting the concrete, but that's the pattern, no shiny on my stuff I'm looking for a one cell weaponlight with a decent throw for outdoor use. View Quote I can see the pattern now. Before it looked like the pattern was reflections from the surface it was on, just like you say. The fixed part of the sling is a different color/pattern than the rest of it? It looks padded too. Really nice setup you have there. |

Really nice setup you have there. http://jerkingthetrigger.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/hybrid-vcas-3.jpg No more freeloading for me! I installed my ACT in my Glock lower this afternoon. What a difference! The original trigger was OK, but there is NO drag on this new trigger. Sweet! When I looked at the old parts, I noticed a mark on the top of the disconnector tail, and a matching mark on the hammer tail... The hammer had been hitting the disconnector at that point, which makes me think it might have done "something very bad" eventually. Like double or worse. While I'm saving that whole trigger, I'm going to hit the hammer tail with something to take off more than "just a little" to prevent this from happening again. |
