I'm used to hauling a spr build around since I was ultimate sniper man there for a while so the weight isn't bad at all

Balance is a little front heavy due to the can and light but it's not bad at all.

Surefire will be more mil-spec recce for sure and they have a better attachment design. I bought the SDN-6 for my Johnny clone and then bought a bunch of flash hiders so I could use it across calibers. I went with the Mini-4 because I already have the mounts, otherwise I would have gone with a Surefire too.

What buffer are you running? I've got a BA carbine gas and trying to tune with my SLR gas block and a H2 but its kind of ficky switching from unsupressed to suppressed. May need to kick it up to an H3.

Vltor A5H3 w/ LMT enhanced carrier. It's been 100% reliable with all ammo. ...Haven't run it suppressed with this configuration yet...Need to pull a suppressor mount off one of my other rifles and shoot it with a can here soon.

I'm a huge fan of the A5. The recoil impulse feels "longer," & smoother than a standard buffer system. Enjoy!

Do you like the MK14? My top choice for my 10.3 blackout build. Ergo's seem a lot better than the MK8 I had previously.

Yes, I prefer it to the MK2 that I have on my 16". The only negative I have to say, and you can see it in the picture, is where it clamps onto the barrel nut. If I want to use my support hand near the mag well/barrel nut on the BCM or the Noveske, it's very comfortable, Not so much with the MK14. It's just a big awkward block of metal right there. Other than that, it's perfection. It's the easiest rail I've ever installed.

Cool, I think I'm going to go with it once I can find one in stock. I never use my support hand that close so don't think it will bother me that much and I have slim hopes of the MK16 coming out soon.

I think that's everyone's 1 complaint on G rails. Why they haven't made the spot you want to carry it slightly ergonomic.

Gonna give this a try. A2 FH is just a placeholder while I wait for a muzzle device to come in, so it's just hand tight.

First 2 pics:
BAFE Tan anodized upper receiver
Geissele MK14 9.5"
Spinta Precision 10.5" 4150 chrome moly barrel (the Spinta is going to a pistol build for my folks and will be replaced with an 11.5" or 12" soon)
ALG Defense SCB
Geissele Super precision 1.93" mount
Vortex Razor HD II 1-6 JMB1
KAC BUIS
BCM Ion Bonded FDE BCG

Last 2 pics:
BCM upper receiver
BCM KMR Alpha 9.5"
Faxon 10.5" lightweight barrel
AAC 51T Blackout FH
Larue SPR 1.93" mount
Leupold Mk4 SPR 1.5-5
Magpul BUIS (Need to switch out the back KAC for a magpul)
Armalite Commercial AR15 BCG

I had to use a light bolt carrier on the Faxon 10.5" because it was not fully cycling unsuppressed. Under gassing is a strange problem to have with a 10.5" SBR, but this one has it. Lighter BCG and a 10% reduced recoil spring help it run like a top. The under gassing is certainly better for longevity than an over gassed system. I have debated about stripping it down and doing a FF RAS Medium with an 11.5, but this one is just so light, handy and surprisingly accurate! It has it's limitations with the light barrel and I freaking hate keymod after having pic rails and mlok, but as stated above, the Geissele upper will be getting an 11.5" or 12" soon to bring some diversity to my uppers.
