POF Rogue and Ruger SFAR are very lightweight and take AR15 handguards as well as AR15-sized BCGs.

It's not a Mini Recce, so forgive me, but here's a 16" Rogue with an AR15 URX rail

Attachment Attached File

Next to a 14.5" AR15 with the same rail and the 12.5" Rogue with the POF rail it came with.

Picked up a Steiner 2.5-15. Seems pretty sweet so far. Not sure I’ll stick with this scope height. Bipod and light not mounted in this picture.

@Maack the BRT 13.9 is perfect; way better than the 14.5 I had originally. I run an H buffer and Colt action spring. Zero gas to face and pleasant with the can. Without the can it shoots very soft with quality .223 and 5.56. Before I picked up my Sandman I ran it with a standard carbine buffer.

My bipod solution is old school. Use a Magpul MLok QD mount and a Harris BRM-S with a speed knob. Easy to attach and works.

Cold air plus hot sun equals lots of mirage. Wasn't my best day today. Average groups where around 1.4 moa

Spent a lot of the day playing with the gas block on the 12.5 to get the explorr running right

Best group of the day

Found this scared little dude. Helped him cross the range to the water.

Saw a fox

On a side note, there wasn't tons of mirage on my last trip And my groups still were not great. This particular batch of black hills red box 77's seems to be less consistent than normal

All around. My groupings have been worse overall by about 15% average. I don't have a chrono so I can't actually compare though

14.5". 7lbs 15oz incl. can, light, laser, optics. Eventually I'll try an ATACR 1-8 on it, but I think I've settled on this for my do everything rifle for now.

I do 200 yards with my 10.3 very regularly with just a T2.That's as far as I can shoot, and the holds aren't bad at all.

That must be a hammer. 6 ARC seems like a winner on paper for a mini...hopefully it gains traction and doesn't turn into 224 valkyrie.

ETA how large is RIS III in hand? It looks like a chonk in that picture.

I’d say roughly equivalent to a URX4.  I can get some OD measurements when I get home to compare.  It’s less chunky than the PRI.

Broke the rear tab on the backstrap that locks it in place while doing prep work.  Took a book from the old MIADs which used a roll pin for the backstrap, just didn’t have one on hand small enough to make it less noticeable.

And it’s RAL 8000.  Colors look a bit off due to lighting.

I was able to get my hands on a Badger 1.7 mount, albeit from a local shop. It works well on the 14.5 inch upper.

I haven't been able to find any accessories in stock to even mount an offset or piggy back sight. If and when I do mount an additional optic, I would most likely go with the 45* offset J-Arm and use a spare RMR that I have on hand.
