Someone said to take your pics in a bathtub so it looks professional

Instead now you have a picture of a gun and a dirty bathtub

That's a hell of a set up. Both Narc45ACP and the July UHFO winner are lucky sons of guns.

That's one hot little blaster.
How did you mate up the PDW style carrier and 9mm carrier together? Pics?

MVB's PDW stock allows use of a standard BCG, so for the 9mm you just have to knock out the added weight and insert the buffer. It ran like a top in this configuration with a spacer in the back of the tube to compensate for the over travel. However, MVB just released a 9mm-specific buffer and I got it the other day. It functions just like a normal buffer, allowing you to keep the BCG weight in place and being a little longer to compensate for over travel without using a spacer.

Thanks. I scored an NEA CCS stock back during Christmas and wondered how your configuration worked.

Very nice.
I have a question regarding gray gear, other than aesthetics does gray offer any tactical advantage over tan or even black?  Not looking to start a huge discussion or derail this really awesome thread, just curious.  All my stuff is green tan or brown (I like the Bobo Fett look) but my guns are all still black.  Almost got enough nerve to rattle can an AR (wife is very artistic and said she would do it) this may be the catalyst.
Thanks

Grey is a fabulous color to blend in. Go take a quick walk through the woods or mountains and notice how many items in nature are grey, almost nothing is black. Now go walk around town and notice all the grey.

So yes, there is a huge tactical advantage vs black. The best is when you actually change the color to match a specific terrain....... anyways here is my contribution:

My humble contribution to this thread.

6.8spc by grito_interno, on Flickr

6.8spc by grito_interno, on Flickr

This is my second AR, and my second build.

Built on a North Tech Defense receiver set.
16" Noveske light weight barrel in 6.8spc.
Noveske/RCA nitrided bcg.
CMR rail.
Geissele SD-C trigger.
Raptor charging handle.
Cerakoted to match the Stealth Gray Magpul furniture.

Have only shot it once when I sighted in the ACOG, but am really happy with it so far.

Thank you for the welcome. I should have joined a while ago. This site has provided a bunch of information as well as inspiration for my two builds.

I will try to bring out my camera and post more often.
