Reading through the thread, it seems like std carbine spring / H2 is what is correct to run. Do any of you run anything different like sprinco or geissele springs and h2’s? What color/ buffer combo’s are working well for you guys?
Thanks in advance |

I think it functions the same as a brand new standard spring but is more consistent and doesn't really wear out or sag. |

So who’s gonna make the first RIS3 MK18? I just saw the RIII today on DD’s Facebook, looks cool.

Do 80% finishing services exist? I have a custom navy engraved FN clone lower and would rather have it milled out vs. using a drill press.
Figured I'd ask before investing in an actual router kit. Prob will use it once then sell it but even then I'd still need to get the lower anodized. |

Probably less expensive to buy the router and jig especially if you plan on reselling |

View Quote I'm pretty sure that's the path atf used when they cracked down on AK build parties where people would share tooling. Basically you'd have to allowed to use the companies machines and mill it out for yourself, and even then, they may still have issues with the tools not being yours. *at least that is my understanding of the process/ rules regarding making your own firearm. Someone may know it better than I, and chime in. I likely will just end up getting a router kit, cerakoting and then rattle can over it. |
