You know that bitch is nose-heavy when you can balance it like that with an Elcan on top.

Yep. That's a gov profile barrel too.

When I get the 203 I'm going to tape a brick to the buttstock for balance.

Curious what type of hand guard on the M4’s in this video. They look like a RIS II fsb, but appear to have a delta ring.

Thanks

They are using KAC RAS rails with an Ergo M4 extension.

The extension bolts to the FSB.

@windyhill they are KAC M4 RAS with Cadex or Ergo extensions. For a cool $50k you can get Cadex to start a production run . Or find Ergos pretty easily

Team membership avoids that shit.

At least until I get an NT4.

Finally got an ACOG for this thing. I can’t say ACOG’s are the best or my favorite but they just work and for a rifle that sits in my safe and not always shot I wanted something with no batteries that is solid all around. Had to find one that wasn’t brand new and had a little wear. Will hopefully be here this week.

Old pic. Back when I trusted Su-231s and the 1.5 got use. Now it sits in the safe w/ nothing on it. Will likely move my Exps3-0 and g33 to this once my Elcan gets back for repair.

Would be cool if Eotech did a 553 re-issue one day. It's the sexiest looking HWS ever. Nothing looks as cool IMO.

Honestly, I wish more optics companies would do that - reissue classics in small numbers for collectors.

That's an old ass light mount. Back in the early '00s a couple of us needed a way to mount a small light but didn't need/want to spend the money on an SF setup, we happened to find the NSN for those.

That's exactly what we used them for. Our FOB had no external lighting and the ground was not improved much when they built everything. Could easily trip/fall on something and get fucked up. I found that mount while digging through some stuff a while back, I should see if I could find it again.

What light is that? I'm fairly certain I used to have one just like it, but ditched it somewhere in my hunting stuff because the button was hard as hell to press to make contact.

I want to say it was something like "Inforce" or "Inova". Used to see them all the time in the PX. I've got one that was branded for Snap On and pretty much stopped using it not long after buying it for the same reason.

Did some purchasing of NSN weapon related items there this morning.

Between Colt and military NSN weapon items, Ebay keeps my bank account in agony.

I used one for about three weeks in 2003 during OIF 1 and then threw it in a footlocker for exactly that reason. I got so tired of those damn knobs catching on everything.
