I still need to mill out my lower and assemble it but I've recently acquired most of my parts to do my build. Not sure if I'm going to use my OD colt tube or just get a black colt tube.

I know the optic isn't clone approved, however the UH1's have been spotted in the wild on Block 2 rifles.

Question for J_MONEY

What Scout mount is that?  My guess is the Haley SBR?

Picked up another PEQ to replace a VITAL-2 on my 1.5.  The KM2 bezel on my SF Scout interferes with the lower, visible laser (wont be using it much anyway).  I'm going to swap out the KM2 for a KM2-A that's sitting on another rifle, but want to keep the Scout up at the 2 O'clock as it sits with the GearSector and Halely mounts.

First World Clone problems.

You sure it wasn't your love for rail extensions?

Very cool man. Between the black 231A and the extensions, def rare bird clones. I like!

Forgive my newb questions. One more.. when the new block accessories were issued was the old equipment considered obsolete and tossed? For example, would you find a block 2 rifle with block 1 optics or lights, etc., in the wild?
Generally when issued new equipment such as the Elcan, the ACOG would be turned in.

Yes, but are they two (or even three) fielding sources?

Obviously the ACOG has been replaced by the ELCAN by SOCOM... But not by "Big Army"..... ARSOF also gets stuff from "Big Army"...

When the M68 "Aimpoints" hit about 2000, they were from "Big Army", not SOCOM. The SOCOM optic was still the old ACOG reflex.

Then, there is always "TPE" when downrange. Stuff that belongs to the war and never goes home.

The light mount on the CQBR is a Unity Tactical Fusion micro hub and lightwing adapter.

Those are the proper ones for A4 builds, aren’t they? I’ll have to grab a couple for my clones.

I thought the proper one was the KAC 98474, or Matech.  not so much the KAC 25650 (USMC version)?  This is more of a question, since I don't know squat.

Well, USMC-marked sights would not be correct for a clone of any other branch.

Nice, very very nice. But the picture above all has a very nice flavor.
What did you use? Love the light and again, the general texture of it. Seems to me you may have used flicker's own filter (the "chest" one even, maybe) which I do use often as well.

Again, did I say nice?

Photography used to be my side jam until I got tired of people lol.

It's snowing outside so I opened the garage door to basically have a giant soft box.  Everything I bring into Lightroom gets a VSCO film preset slapped on it by default.  I just turned the blacks up and added vignette.  I do next to zero post processing.

Damn, very few M16A3 guns made.  First time I've seen a Sabre Defense marked lower too.  I've only seen SeaBees with them in Iraq.  Selector markings shouldn't change as Safe/Semi/Auto.  Select only change between A2(burst)/A3(auto).  Upper receiver would be new as the M16A3 had a fixed carrying handle with rifle ramps.

I'll add to this. I have two pinned 14.5s and they're awesome. Invisible pin job and super accurate. Only minor issue is the non F marked FSB but that's easily remedied with the taller post.

Non-F-marked FSB, eh?  I do have a couple of A2 uppers coming in... Perhaps it's time to rig up a new 727 clone...
