It is:
• Brownells DD M4A1 SOPMOD Block II upper pin/welded @14.7" by ADCO
• Spikes Snowflake lower
• Aero Precision mil spec bolt assy
• RRA parts kit w/two stage match trigger
• Knights M4 front sight, Matech rear
• Eotech XPS2-2
• Streamlight TLR-1HL
• KNS anti rotation pins
• Blue Force Gear Vickers sling & sling keepers

That lower was on request of my twelve year old son, who it was built for.

I ain't changing a thing. I said inspired, not clone. Aside from the rail, iron sights, and sling there's nothing clone about it. You clone Nazis can deal with it.

The lower is cute, weirdos.

No binary just yet. Since a bunch of illiberal brats libtarded our gun laws recently, current legislation leaves binary triggers up for interpretation concerning legality.

How does this trigger compare to the SSA/SSA-E, is it as crisp, does it feel extremely light and easy as the SSA/SSA-E? What are the differences if any is the real question, been thinking about pulling the trigger on one for awhile, just thought for a $100 less it would feel only like a tiny bit of the SSA/SSA-E and not as smooth.

Got a text first thing this morning from a local ATF inspector that I know, he’s been keeping an eye on my form 4. The sneaky bastards approved it on the 8th, which was my birthday. I feel like they did that on purpose. Time from check cash to approval was just over 7.5 months. Now I’ve got to wait the grueling amount of time between approval and the form making it back to the FFL.

In other news, my 4 prong arrived today (Thanks again @PirateEC !!). Gas block should arrive tomorrow, so I hope to get the upper operations by Friday.

Still need to grab an M3x, dual switch and a 99051 and I’ll be complete.

Still gotta torque and rocksett my flash hider in the morning at the shop, but other than that I’ve finally got everything together.

Now I gotta source an M3x, dual switch, and a KAC 99051. Also have an MRDS that’s waiting to go on top of the Elcan, but I’m waiting on some screws for the mount that Armament Tech is sending me.

Anyways, enjoy.

IIRC it said heavy M4 profile. So one would think, but I haven't ever seen a DD SOCOM bbl, so it will be cool to see. Might just be M4 pro tho

No.  And never with an A2, A4, M4, M4A1, or CQBR either.  Eliminate what chance?  I am worried more about brass from shooters next to me or my can/suppressor than the bayonet lug, which rarely gets hot enough to burn me.

I had assumed that the whole FSB got pretty hot, though I havent bothered to touch one to find out.

Seeing as how it slightly pokes through the rail, I figured that there may be a burn hazard. I’ve never had an issue with any other rifle, but this is the first rail I’ve ever had that runs beyond the FSB.

Guys with an FSP rail, you ever get burned on the bayonet lug?

I hate to do it, but I’m thinking about shaving it off to eliminate the chance.

Bro I'm gonna be honest with ya I think that's an absolutely retarded idea. Leave it be.

Not clone correct if you shave it.  Never heard of anyone getting burned by the bayonet lug, hot suppressors after lots of firing yes.

It is not letting me apply the gift card to the purchase so maybe it includes the $350 GC for a future purchase?  Not that I'm actually going to buy it.

Yeah, I think he means it's only that cheap if you look at it as buying a $350 gift card with the upper.

It is retarded if there’s no chance of it getting hot enough to burn you, I thought it did. That’s why I asked about it before cutting, I really didn’t want to do it.

You'll get burned more easily by the a-frame long before you get burned by the lug. Trust me.
