Just picked up an ECOS sans the RMR/mount on the EE for my Block II with FSP build.

Question:  What is the exact mount needed to put the RMR on top?  Also, who has one in stock!

Thanks, guys!

Mount:

And for the RMR, just look all over the EE, and find one that floats your boat. I prefer the RMR01, personal preference! I love my ECOS.

I don't normally schill for websites, but I was on the hunt the for an MK18 Taupe Knights front sight, and didn't want to pay $200 for a used one in the EE.

Went to gnarlygorilla.com and used code $5GORILLABUCKS to get one for $181 shipped.

Already have tracking and it'll be here tomorrow.  2 day shipping from "RSR" group in Texas.

I'm impressed.

Hey guys....  Just a question about EXPS's on these .mil guns.  How come it's always on a riser and never just an XPS model.  That is the difference in nomenclature, right?   I guess maybe to clear stuff and people prefer lower 1/3?

This is its normal configuration but colt made it to be able to accept 5.56 uppers for their SCAR program. I’ve never shot it with a 5.56 upper on it. But it’s still cool to have haha

Looks like the closed tine one is almost a quarter inch shorter than the open tine model. Depending on how your barrel is cut, you might come up short.

Hopefully not a stupid question, but why does the rail come with 3 different length rail caps, and one rail ladder? How is this supposed to look all set-up?

However the operator wants. The RIS II manual says to cover any unused rails or something like that. There isn't enough to cover much, most don't use any at all.

Is yours OD like mine? I saw your post and ordered one, it is much more green/ODish than my other taupe mk18 sights.

Does anyone know where I can get some of the DD rail mount QD sockets?  I remember Aim blew them out for $10 shipped awhile ago.  I'd like something cheaper than the $50 they're asking on DD.com.

Yes, I have two uppers. One has an Aimpoint Comp M4s. The other has a vortex 1-6 but the scope is useless during night time operations so
the Aimpoint saves some unnecessary weight.
