Now with correct timing on the brake -- no more exposed threads. Thanks for the assist with the proper thick shim @teamjawbox. Really happy with how this late USMC Mod 1 clone is coming together.

The x32 is a far better optic than the Leupold, just not correct.

Up to you. I sold my MR/T as well and went to a 3.5-15x50 F1. The MR/T has not aged well, and the things I most disliked about it did not outweigh the benefits:

pro:
correct
lightweight
quick turrets
TMR reticle

cons:
fixed parallax
moa turrets with mil reticle
1/2 moa adjustments
common battery drain issues and illumination is weak
mediocre optical quality
debatable, but the magnification range for the size is just "okay"

If you can, I'd just have both. They're going to get harder to get as time goes on, and worst case you have a true Mk12 build, and then one that's a little looser. The x32 NF is a great scope and I'd put it on an "inspired" build instead.

The MRT was a disappointment from the beginning, for all the reasons you listed.

For me it is a one or the other option sadly. Part of me really wants it but basically everything else is clone correct on my build. And I know finding a x24 will be almost impossible.

The first batch is pattered specifically for the Noblex/Docter red dot sights, but any other red dot using the same mounting pattern should fit just fine. The actual footprint/base is sized for a flush side fit for the Docter sights though, so other red dots may slightly over/under hang the edge. The platform itself is 25mm (.985") x 46mm (1.81") for reference and has a slightly radiused front/rear. Bolts up directly with Nightforce 30mm ultralight rings, can't comment on fitment with any other rings however so y'all are on your own for that if you decide to try and use it on something else. Either way, really cool piece of impossible to find kit. Listing will be live shortly on my site, but won't go on sale until Saturday at noon.

Bought one over the weekend. Thanks for getting these out to the community.

Are the NightForce Ultralight 1.375" A110 rings the correct height rings for use on a Mk12 Mod1? If they are not the correct height rings, what height NightForce rings would be the correct height? I bought a 30mm Top Cap Red Dot Mount (Nightforce/Docter) from ringer706 for future use and I thought I might as well pick up the correct NF rings.

Finally got this thing together. Not perfect, obviously. Excuse the lower it's temp. Optic amongst others isn't correct but it's a work in progress.

Thanks to @HunterX for his info (as well as many others) and basically forcing my hand into building this. And costing me a shit ton more then I thought it would. Along with @wakebrdr142 for getting me set up with a lot of hard to find parts. And my friend who gave me a bunch of other hard to find stuff lol.

Things a good shooter.

Parts:

Douglas from CLE barrel, milled for set screws and kg coated black
PRI Gen iii handguard
PRI welded latch Gas Buster
Non beveled rail pieces (excluding long top)
Full address sight that was put onto a new production base because the other wasn't set screw.
Colt keyhole upper
Colt 4 pos buffer tube
Colt A1 grip
Colt N1 stock
A.R.M.S #40
A.R.M.S  #22M NLS rings
A.R.M.S TRC/TRR
A.R.M.S #38 PEQ 2-3
A.R.M.S #17 TRI-LOCK NLS
Harris S-BRM bipod
Leopold 3x9 with illumination
Garbage ALG trigger, will be an SSA soon. Worst ALG trigger iv'e gotten.
Tactical Machining lower

Yours truly. Didn't expect this thing to be that heavy!

Which upper receiver would you choose out of these 5 options that I have lying around for my mk12 mod 1? This build isn't intended to be 100% Clone Correct, but I would like it to be basically as close as it can be with what I have available and not chasing around expensive pieces unnecessarily for my end goal.

Colt 13629 Cage Code Square Forge w/ T-marks, M4 on face
Square Forge Upper, no T-marks, M4 on face
Keyhole Forge Upper, no T-marks, can't see face (currently on a build)
Split A Forge Upper w/ T-marks, nothing on face
KAC Keyhole Forge Upper, 'Mod 2' engraved on side

Whatever has the closest dimensions to the TDP other than the inner diameter of the extension flange, tighter the better there.

Snapped a quick photo before packing them up for the move.  First class surplus case is reserved for the late mod 0.  The others travel in current production coach class.  Life goals.

Those are some seriously nice rigs!  Good luck on the move!

Small update to this rig,
Looking for a TS-30A2 marked scope ((($75 finders fee for the scope!))) and an Ops Inc collar and brake.  Ops Inc can would be nice too
If you see some areas I can improve on, please let me know.  Thanks again to some awesome people in here for helping me get this far.

I'll likely be doing another run of repro case foam sets in the next month or two if you (or anyone else) are interested.

In unrelated news, for those asking about the Aimpoint version of the Nightforce top cap mounts, those will be available tomorrow at noon. I have slightly fewer than I did of the Docter mount, but it's the same deal, it's a one time shot by a fellow cloner that had these made up. It uses the aimpoint micro footprint, so other than T1/T2, Sig Romeo5's, a few Holosun models, Vortex Sparc, etc., should all fit nicely.

I finally have my SPR/early Mk12 Mod 0 clone in a place that I feel confident to post it. There are a few old school parts that went into this, such as the 2000 dated Vari-X III with illuminated mil dot, but most parts are either modified current production or custom pieces

Still needs a few things to be correct but have enjoyed shooting it with the Leupold like the USASOC Sniper comp Mod 1's had. really helps to take advantage of that 18' Barrel! My friends do a lot of Coyote hunting and ive been thinking about throwing a thermal on it and seeing how the coyotes like Mk262 lol

You get find MOA x24s 1400-1600 when they pop up.

C538s go for between 1700-2500. Usually at least $2k.

I'd be in for another set of foam.
