Well I decided to upgrade my AR and I think I think I did pretty well for a college student's budget. It still needs a LT RCO and bipod mount, maybe a Smith Vortex, and I'm sure there will always be something more.

What do you all think?

Basic Specs:

-PWA lower

-LT Sling

-KAC 600m BUIS

-Trijicon ACOG TA31RCO

-ADCO mid-length dissipator upper w/ DD Omega 12.0

-Harris 6-9" swivel

I had a chance to zero it yesterday and shoots great, the mid-length gas system is definately lighter recoil impulse compared to a carbine.  I am pretty happy with how it all turned out.

Can't wait to get some more time on the trigger.

I'd say that's the 2nd prettiest thing I've seen so far today.

I'm thinking about how much I'd like to get off my ass and try that with a 5.45, but yours is going to be the one I hope it grows up to be like.

Sweet!  What grip is that?

Sierra Precision SPR.  I really like it, it fills mind hed very well and is comfortable if you are holding the rifle for a long period of time.

Awesome set up!  Only thing I would change is that I would drop the bipod to save some weight.

It doesn't add to much weight but it is more noticable because it is so far down. I am planning on a QD mount so I can have it as an option.

I've always liked the look of a dissy. A 12.5" dissy is in my near future.

Sounds like a good idea.

I think BCM calls a 12.5 dissipator a 'Kino' don't they?

My bro has a cruiser, great barrel.  I actually like your setup better.  Its asking to be a recce, but for some reason, he runs a reddot

anyway, sick rifle bro.

The Sierra SPR grip is going to be going on my next build... Seeing more people using and liking them is just firming that up in my mind. Great looking build.
