How utterly crazy would I be if I paid $1,800 for a complete FN M16 marked lower from a collectors rifle? I kinda want it, but I don't. I want it because it's complete FN. I don't want it because it doesn't say M16A4, Property etc., and because it's $1,800.
I did just come into an 80% lower and jig. How much trouble is it to have it engraved with all the proper markings? |

Thoroughbred did not charge tax and shipping was free on the order I placed with them a year ago. Obviously the tax thing could have changed, but I believe they do free shipping on orders over a certain amount (like $100), which tends to be everything due to the average cost of most of their components (rails, uppers, barrels, etc).
