Sorry to bug you about your build, but what scope is that? I see the OPMOD logo from Optics Planet, but can't tell what the actual optic is.

Thanks. The plan was a different take on the Mk12 with more modernly available parts. I knew I still wanted a quad rail vs. mlok or keymod and the 18” barrel. After that the rest was on the choppin block. I feel I struck a decent balance.

Nice. I need to get this one to the range and see how it does. I almost went with an mlok rail but felt an SPR needed a quad rail.

I’m surprised how light weight it is. Not just the rail but the rifle overall is super light for what it is.

Pic thread…

Started out as a M4 clone but went sideways. It needs a light and I've already got a sling for it.

I had my original Turbo Cerakoted FDE years ago (whilst still in NFA jail,) and it still looks great. Probably 1000-1500 rounds through it (on SBR's) she's holding up great. Love it. May do the same for my Turbo-K here in the near future. It's dedicated to my FDE 10.5" build, so why not.

Old pic..

The more I think about it, yup. Needs FDE'd
